Power Spot Tour February 2014

Hello everyone.

We have looked around famous power spot in Kyoto to get good luck by bus and walking.

At first, we have been to Shimogamo shrine, there is famous power spot for protecting from evils, good fortune, easy child birth, child rearing and matchmaking.

Sazare-Ishi (Peblles)

Look at the above stone called Sazare-Ishi, this is in the lyric of Japanese national anthem.
Renri-No-Sakaki (Trees entwined)
 
This tree was two trees originally, two trees was become as one tree in progress.
 
According to the legend, god of matchmaking has full of love power makes  two trees was become as one tree halfway. This is outcome of  easy child birth, child rearing and matchmaking.
 
When the tree get old and die, new tree will appear in forest of Tadasu is neighbourhood.
By the way, this tree is the forth generation.
 
 
 
Kamo-Mitarashi-Chaya

Near Shimogamo Shrine.
 
This is rice cake dumpling with sticky sweet sauce. this is warm and chewy and not too much sweet.

it makes me feel Japan and the cost is ¥400


 
 

Mame Mochi (Soy bean rice cake)

The shop's name is Demachi Hutaba and there was a long line to buy Mame Mochi.
This shop is the most famous for Mame Mochi in Kyoto.
