Bicycle Tour around the central of Kyoto
Recentry, hydrangea sparsely blooming these days, it is the rainy season in Japan,
I went sightseeing around the central of Kyoto starting from NISHIYAMA RYOKAN.
At first I've been to Simo-Goryou shrine that takes 3 minutes
by bicycle from NISHIYAMA RYOKAN.
This shrine enshrines the worst vengeful spirits in Kyoto.
The atmosphere was prety gloomy.
The next!
Pass Kamo river on my way, I went to Heian shrine it took 15 minutes From Simo-Goryou shrine.
Tinowa Kuguri
is a traditional seasonal ceremony (from the end of June to July) wishing to be in good health by passing through the big circle made of tall grass (thatch). If you pass through like 8-shaped loop this circle three times, you will be free from illness and overcome the heat of summer.
